INGREDIENTS: 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1/4 cup oil, preferably olive 1/4 cup dry white wine 1 to 2 Tbsp. minced parsley 3/4 tsp. crushed basil leaves 1/2 tsp. crushed oregano 3/4 tsp. garlic powder 3/4 tsp. salt Pepper 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 2 lb. shrimp (Large) PROCEDURE:
Melt butter and add oil, wine, parsley, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Peel and clean shrimp leaving tails attached. Split almost through down inside and flatten shrimp lightly. Place in shallow pan large enough for shrimp to lie flat in pan. Pour sauce over shrimp and marinate 1 hr. Bake at 450 degrees 9 to 11 minutes in same pan without draining off sauce. Or broil shrimp slowly until done and lightly browned. Baste with sauce once or twice during cooking.
